This mutant creature is the product of the government experiment, and it is the source of the zombie plague that’s ravaged Liberty Falls.

• Tip 1: Collect Final Supplies
  Before you enter the main hall, make sure to gather any final supplies. The Town Hall has several Weapon Lockers scattered throughout the building, each holding powerful weapons, such as The Sentinel Rifle or The Inferno Shotgun, which will be invaluable during the boss fight. Don’t forget to stock up on Health Kits and Armor to give you the edge in the upcoming battle.

• Tip 2: Solving the Town Hall Puzzle
  Before you can face the Final Mutation, you need to solve a complex puzzle in the Town Hall’s Main Chamber. This puzzle involves aligning three large Energy Conduits to channel power to a central system. You’ll find clues to solve the puzzle by examining the Old Town Records located in the chamber.

Once the conduits are aligned, the Town Hall’s Vault will open, revealing the Final Mutation. But beware—it’s not just a simple fight. This boss battle is divided into multiple phases, each more challenging than the last.

Step 11: The Final Mutation Boss Fight

The Final Mutation is unlike any zombie you’ve faced so far. This massive, mutated creature has several devastating abilities, including:

• Phase 1: The Swarm
  At the start of the battle, the Final Mutation will summon waves of regular zombies to overwhelm you. These zombies are mostly standard, but they will quickly pile up and trap you in corners. Use your Zombie Senses power from earlier to detect hidden enemies and keep them at bay. Take out the smaller zombies quickly, but don’t waste too much ammo on them. Focus on surviving and dodging the larger attacks from the Final Mutation.

• Phase 2: Toxic Surge
  Once you’ve dealt enough damage, the Final Mutation will enter Toxic Surge Mode, releasing a cloud of poisonous gas that reduces your visibility and deals heavy damage over time. Use your Toxic Immunity power to counter this phase and keep your distance from the creature as it charges at you.

• Phase 3: Final Stand
  In the final phase of the fight, the Final Mutation will become more aggressive, charging at players and using a Sonic Scream to disorient the team. Focus all of your firepower on its weak points—its head and heart. Using the Explosive Containers in the room will also deal significant damage.
